Her PersonalitySkittish, psychotic, brilliant, and uncontrollable. Blame is a different kind of crazy for Grayson Meadows. She isn't exactly the kindest animal you'll ever meet but she is a flawless runner nonetheless. She's distant and doesn't like to get too close to anyone and if you aren't paying attention she will bear her pretty teeth and get you. It's never a good thing to keep her in her stall too long either as she'll likely end up hurting herself because she has nothing better to do. She and Collateral are pretty good friends and will both be seen playing in their paddocks together having little races of their own along the fence.
The key to running Blame is to get her to relax, and who better to do that then the soft hands of Alex Shade. Blame is a pain to gate and even more difficult to keep relaxed in the gate. She isn't very big so one would think she would be more comfortable, but she works herself up in the small space. So when the gates first open she shoots out of them like a rocket. Usually settling in with most of the other horses relaxes Blame enough to focus on what she's doing and she will figure out what to do from there. When relaxed, Blame is the ideal horse, however that happens once in a blue moon. She isn't a favorite around the barn among the grooms but all the exercise riders and jockeys love this filly and her spitfire attitude. -- Written by Cc of Grayson Meadows |
Her StyleBlame will break super fast and often lead in the first couple hundred yards of the race, then drop back with the rest of the pack. Blame has to be surrounded by other horses at first, she needs to get the feel of the field. Then when it's time to go he will maneuver her scrawny body into an opening either on the rail or the outside and Blame will unleash a flawless turn of foot and go flying past her foes. She thrives from pressure and when in a dog fight she'll dig down deep to nose out her competition.
